Before I got to the meet, went for petrol and meet some of the guys in Fontwell. As I pulled in to get petrol I meet another NX'r. He has a red nx (which is under construction). It has the Joy Tuning kit on, well had the front and rear bumpers on.(good luck with it bob) I told him about the club but was too late because Jane (AKA Tejero) had already flyered him. I also told him about the meet.
We met in the normal place Chichester Gate Chichester and started chatting Bob did turn up to meet all the gang. Went to have are compulsory micky-d's, after this bob had 2 head home, (did say he would join up hope to see you at the next meet) The rest of us went off 2 play bowling (i was crap yet again) Nigel won (has he been in training LOL) maybe Nigel should have a head to head with rob aka Golders.
After bowling, went up to Goodwood there was no racing on so went up to the trundle, parked up and had another good chat then we went on the hunt for a pub that had a pool table and one that would allow me to take 13 year old son in we managed to find one eventually, and we played a couple of games of pool Again I was crap but managed 2 win LOL Kev (AKA crash) managed to do a Nigel (l61kvo) and make the white ball jump off the table
All in all had a great day thanks to everyone that attended

All went well; we all arrived safe and sound and roughly on time. After the introductions we all inspected our NXs and gave credit where credit was due. After all we all have nice tidy specimens!!!! Spent a lot of time discussing our various MODs and what we all want to do with the cars. Hope the engine bay tubing works all right for you Ken!!!
After all the Gas Bagging we decided it was time for some grub and drinks. We all sat down in Chicago Rock Cafe and got to knowing each other a bit better.
Found out we have a Motorbike equivalent of Crash (Kev) with us know in the shape of KennethB. Where Crash has crashed nearly everything on 4 wheels, Ken sounds like he has done the same with 2 wheels.
After pigging out on food we all had to get home early for yet more food with the family! So next time we will make more time for bowling as such.
Good to meet both of you and will look forward to more meets!

Funkykebab aka Matt was with us for ten mins and at least u got your part matt We meet at the normal place in Chi after having a good chat we decided it was time for food, decided on a change from the micky ds and went to pizza hut where matt meet us after waiting 15 mins for the pizza bloke to get us a table we decided 2 leave and went on the hunt for burger king (the 1 in chi now closed )this is the point we lost matt sorry buddy. Jane went on the search for matt while me and the others went to burger king in Bognor where a certain person started throwing fries at the staff (u know who u are ).
We then cruised though Easter gate where we saw another red nx everyone flashed their lights, bloke looked stunned i was the last nx and by the time he got 2 me he waved back but still had a puzzled look on his face. We went back to Chichester looking for matt no luck so headed to Hayling island went in the arcade place was lame (haven't been 4 years )Jane and Janine went on the dance game (please see pics in the album link above) and crash on a shooting game (this bloke really gets into his games lol) went to go on bumper cars but they closed it shame decided 2 go bowling in haven't but 1 1/2 wait at this point Kev Dunk and Sam departed on there long trip home
so the rest of us cruised back to Chichester to go bowling b4 we went bowling We checked out nigels neons truly amazing they r everywhere i also turned mine on after a bit of showing off went bowling had a real good game and a great chat and rob aka Golders won (ten pin king)
thanks to every 1 that turned up was a great day and still no rain.

Well 1st off I think the word of the day has 2 be red because 4 of the attending nx's were red, See the pics ..Looks cool. The camcorder mount I made didn't really work started 2 shake a lot so I was driving with one hand out of the car holding it, not good at all.
The day started off a bit gloomy but that soon went and we got the sun again . Started off in Chichester like we normally do had a good chat had a good look around the cars, bonnets up like taking a lot of time to look at matt's new hoses really do look great and Sal's red pained rocker cover and heat shield and air filter/exhaust Sal also has a very sweet MOMO steering wheel and looking at Kev's install still amazes every time I see it, Kie's new 5 spoke alloys and Jane's freshly painted baby and Nigel freshly fixed baby looking, Very clean too I might add.
Went for McDonald's and played pool and air hockey we went for a nice cruise to Selsey one of the funny points was going round and round a mini round about waiting for the others 2 catch up. On the way 2 Selsey we got a lot of reaction from people and the same goes when we parked, up in a big car park in Selsey where we had another chat(I just don't shut up lol) While there Kie cleaned one of my sensors which made my nx idle a lot better and pulls better too, and Kie and Matt messing with Matt's engine trying to get it to run perfect
all in all another great meet. Many thanks to all that attended.

Japanese Auto Extravaganza(England): East Of England - Peterborough - 22nd -24th July05

Well that time came again ..The Anniversary of the 1st 100nxc meet .. JAE is steadily growing and growing .. 2005 saw at its height 25 100NX's and one Pulsar NX enjoy the mixed July English weather that we experienced..
We arrived on Friday to be greeted by Steve, Danni and Chris. And quickly discovered that without Re's knowledge of how to erect the gazebo we would never have had it erected in time for the Crew that were at Northampton Motor Sports on their rolling road..
As the night grew into the twilight hours kids were put to bed and so all the worlds woes were soon put to bed over a wee campfire and friendly conversation.. Unfortunately for me .. Saturday soon followed and well I am a slow to recover but the others went on and there was even a vote taken on dragging me into the land of the living .. but aside from all that .. What happened At JAE??
Members came from all corners of the Isles . From northerly Fife to southerly Andover and just about everywhere in-between and the same was for Ireland with both north and south represented. And as one member commented it was good to put a face on that anonymous forum handle.. so a brief synopsis of the weekend.. Aztec unveiled his project in person with his Beautiful lambo - orange 100NX along with custom body kit .. Kev introduced us to the Artistic work that is his sound system, Pete (when he was not sleeping ) was running from one nx to another Tweaking and Fixing as he went along ( and managed to get a few to join him in his quest to perfect the 100NX (hard that )..Jan and Dave arrived in Jan's Pulsar NX Re and Di kept all of us both fed and as it turned out Dry as the weather turned against the gazebo on Sunday.. Best not talk about this or the inter-club tug of war.
This year we started what I hope will be a new tradition within the club, The members get to vote for each car and the combined votes Generated prizes for those with the highest score ..Aztec and Lee won outright 1st and 2nd prizes with others going to Matt Craig Jan and Kev (other prizes in no particular order)
Overall, everyone appeared to have enjoyed themselves despite the weather and barring any mishaps in the next 12 months I suspect that 2006 will be even bigger than this year. Again Thanks to all that attended, shared tips, looked after those of us with no mechanical tendencies, to Di for her wonderful 100NX hats, and again for all the food that miraculously appeared, so to conclude .. all I can say is Bring on 2006 and all that has yet to be organised ..

South Meet (England) Sunday 26th June 05

Right well 1st off let me thank everyone that turned up good to see everyone we were lucky and had a good sunny day there was 7 nx's at this meet, Craig black nx ms design kitted.

Cars that were there
Craig d's black nx ms design body kit de-wipered boot very nice rims Konig E-Racer in Gunmetal Grey.
Cliff and Rosie's elec blue nx very shinny as norm and the tsw alpine alloys look great on it (don't buy a mx5 cliff)
Jane's (Tejero) red nx shopping list tsw rims new mods tinted windows and grooved discs. Jane also had JANENE her friend with her.
Kie's red nx with black viper stripes
Matt's (funky kebab) gray nx freshly sprayed front end number plate moved lower down(make a big diff very nice)very shinny rocker cover
Nigel's (L61KVO) white nx bonnet vent modded front end but not in the nice way soon to be fixed(good luck) mine (geezer) black nx new front end and standard headlamps clear front indicators(thanks Nigel), I had my two sons with me.

We had a good old chat like we norm do and had a Mickey-ds played a couple of games of pool then went cruising we cruised around Chichester for a bit and then went along the dual carriage way to Fontwell we were leapfrogging each other all the way to Fontwell Nigel got stuck at the round about so had to go back lol on the way back to Chichester we lost Matt and Craig but they found us so off we went to Bognor Regis via Fontwell we had a good cruise about( loads of people staring) and ended up parking next to Butlin's but then moved on to Safeway car park after locking the cars up we had a nice police officer come over and say hello asking if we was a car club and he said it was nice to see people enjoying there cars without driving fast and playing load music (ok then timing is everything) we went and got a drink and went back to the cars and we all said goodbye

Irish Meet (Ireland) Athlone - 18th June 05

Well Shock horror it happened .. 3 NX's arrived into Athlone on an Sunny Summer day.. unfortunately pics are in paulies camera and will be posted when available. Present were Paulie (Pauliem) and Suz in his Sleek Black FI NX, Des (non member) in his 95 registered White Carb import, and myself and Angelblue and boys in my poor ole Red 92 Carb. Needless to say I was late having seen a bit more of Midland Ireland than time permitted.. but was good to meet up.. Naturally I was curious on the Differences that may be in the 95 carb and my own and it was like comparing the cosmetic differences between the Fi and the carb ie dash clocks etc .. But all in all Very Clean machines guys nice one, mine however saw more Irish road than polish on this occasion.
After the initial park up with hoods up, t-tops off and curious Irish people slowing down going what are those gorgeous cars (Sorry slightly biased here) we went for a quick spin and then a bowling match.. I Quickly learned why I stopped playing Bowling but persevered anyway.. after a quick bite to eat it was time to part our merry ways. Paulie has a Vid of the meet and between Des cleaning his car of the slight spray he got while ahem Parking and paulie running about with the camera it should prove interesting to see

North Meet (England) Carlisle - 15th May 05

Guys, Well we had our first successful meet in the North and what a great day it was. The sun was beating down on us so off came the roof panels although there was only three 100NX's we still pulled of a excellent fun day, those who came were; Pete (Kishada) who travelled all the way from Scotland! Steve (Stevegb) car is currently work in progress but will look great when finished. Oh and me and Andy in my mostly stock NX!

After a small chat in Carlisle and showing each other's are NX's what things where broken, what extra's we had etc! We then set about finding a bowling alley we played 3 games everyone won one except me ... swear I will never play that damn game again next time we need the barriers up!

After bowling we had a little drive around Carlisle then found a pub which served food, we sat out in the garden and had a bar snack and a few drinks I never drank because I am light weight and probably would of fallen over or done something stupid.

South Meet (England) Chichester - 2nd April 05

There has been another south meet and what a great day for it definitely t-top off weather not a cloud in the sky. We had five 100NX's at this meet; these were Cliff and Rosie in a very nice blue 100NX very clean they came all the way from Essex, Jane aka Tejero in her red 100NX, Kie aka Kieran in his red 100NX all the way from London way, Nigel in his white 100NX from the other side of Brighton and me in my black 100NX. We all meet up in Chichester we had a good chat and a McDonalds and then went bowling while waiting for are lane me Kie, Jane and Nigel played pool, Kie beat me and Nigel beat Jane then we got to the bowling. We played 2 games was a great laugh I won 1 game and Nigel won the other then we decided to go for a cruise up to Goodwood race circuit. Through Chichester town Rosie was filming us driving up to Goodwood, thanks for that Rosie. When we got to Goodwood and they were having what looked like a Lancia track day so we went up on the viewing platform. Here you can see how big the track is, we watched a couple of cars go round and had a chat about a track day then we went back to the cars. Where Kieran adjusted my timing to 15 degrees feels so much better now (thanks for that Kieran), then onto Nigel's adjusting the timing and throttle cable. Cliff and Rosie said their goodbyes and headed back to Essex. We then went for a test drive to see how the cars ran ended up in Halfords car park again had another chat then everyone went on their merry way home. Overall a great day and loads of fun.
